About the Founder
Nadine R. Bader founder of Healing Helper has been studying wellness solutions for people, animals, and the environment for over 15 years. She earned a BS degree in Zoology from State University of New York at Oswego in 1998. Nadine has a passion for healing the environment and world as a whole. She initially traveled to Madagascar to help conservation efforts abroad. There she had the amazing opportunity to do behavioral research on endangered lemurs! She later worked for Dr. Patricia Wright at SUNY Stony Brook's Institute for the Conservation of Tropical Environments. Nadine traveled the country reintroducing California Condors and Bald Eagles, restoring Florida ecosystems, monitoring Vermont wildlife, and radio-tracking bobcats and coyotes for the National Park Service.
Nadine has handled a vast array of animals through educational outreach programs. She has worked with gibbons, lemurs, monkeys, alligators, boas, pythons, leopards, lynx, cougars, bears, kangaroo and many other animals! In 2001, Nadine started an Animal Wellness Service in the Florida pan-handle. She has offered pet sitting services, exercising, massage, aromatherapy and other natural healing remedies for a variety of species. Nadine also has experience working as a veterinary technician and completed Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine Certification for Pet Behavioral Therapy in 2002. Nadine is currently licensed as a New York State Wildlife Rehabilitator.
Since 2003, she has studied multiple forms of Feng Shui including the Feng Shui Institute of America and Instinctive Feng Shui certification programs. Through efforts to heal mind, body and soul she does ongoing research within the wellness field. These studies include meditation, yoga science, intuitive develpment, therapeutic essential oils, nutrition, medicinal plants, organic gardening, as well as the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer program. Nadine R. Bader is both a certified Usui Reiki Master and Karuna Reiki Master. She has been facilitating the healing of people and animals with this modality since 2004. She is also certified to teach Nia a combination of dance, yoga/healing arts, and martial arts. Nia heals, mind, body and soul through joy of movement. Most recently, Nadine added the Upledger Institute's cranio sacral therapy to her list of holistic training.
